ECOLOGICAL COMPATIBILITY OF NANOCEMENT PRODUCTION

The technology modifies Portland cement into Nanocement; radically shifting the development strategy of the cement industry and giving the opportunity to reduce the unit costs of fuel and CO2, NOX, and SO2 emissions per every ton of cement 2-3 times with minimal investment. This nanotechnology results in high performance concrete while resolving the problems of ecological sustainability.


LOWER PRODUCTION COSTS

Nanocement production includes up to 70% clincker substitution with quartz sand, industrial waste, slag /or ash. We have a C52.5 production cost saving of over 30% per ton. See below Table 1 - an economic analysis done based on a trial in Dubai.

Take note of the production cost improvements:  class C42.5 Nanocement is 43% cheaper to produce as compared to standard PC C42.5. Additionally, classes C62.5 and C72.5 are cheaper to produce but can be sold at a significant premium over standard PC.

High performance product

Take note of the intensive strength of the cement stone at the beginning of the hardening process. This is on the base of low clinker energy saving Nanocement formula.

Consequently, Nanocement 55 with only 55% mass of modified Portland cement demonstrated compressive strength in stone - 49.3 MPa and deflection strength - 6.3 MPa in two days of normal hardening, reaching compressive strength - 77.5 MPa, and deflection strength - 8.2 MPa in 28 days of hardening.

Increasing the longevity of the product

According to applied standards of all countries, the storage life of Portland cement without noticeable loss of quality, is no more than 2 months, whereas the storage life of Nanocement without any loss of quality is no less than 1 year as per the National pre-standard RF 19-2014.

 


PHYSICAL AND MECHANICAL TESTING METHOD OF NANOCEMENT

Nanocement is a very flexible and active material with a much lower water demand, than that of the ordinary Portland Cement.  Therefore, we have developed a testing method to reflect maximum performance characteristics of the material.
